| My very first multiboxing group is lvl 52 and I'm starting to plan my 2nd group (hoping to get 3 groups done before RAF runs out). Having a ton of fun, lots of useful info on this site. My first group is Prot Pally, 2 Fire Mages, Destro Warlock and a Holy Priest. Judging by many of the posts I should respec to Disc Priest. For my 2nd group it sounds like Prot Pally, 3 shamans (elementalists) and a disc Priest is pretty solid. I got the Pally figured out, I use Healbot for the priest, but what is the approach with the 3 shamans (they'll all DPS)? I'm guessing spam totems (think I've seen the 1-button macro to do this), but wondering what the 1-button macro for DPS'ing would be? <!first post!> |

| Probably spec the Shammies as Elemental. You can use a click priority system for them. Their basic rotation is: a) Flame Shock b) Lava Burst c) Chain Lightning d) Lightning Bolt (as fall-through). The Pally can use the standard 96969 rotation, on the same hotkey. With equal gear, if you pull with Avenger's Shield, you won't lose threat. Not sure on the Priest. It is a fun class, and a very capable healer either Holy or Disc (I love Disc.). But 3x Elemental Shammies can easily heal all 5-man content. So you have the option of another DPS, for faster clearing; a Warlock or Boomkin adds 13% spell damage, which is quite significant. Or to stick with the dedicated healer, which certainly works too. Assuming your RAF chain is one of: A - B - C - D - E A - B - C A - D - E You might consider boosting with your first pally from Account A. Basically stick the pally in the group with the others, and use her to kill everything. Particularly an instance route. With the early Hellfire gear, you'll easily do Scarlet Monastery in 2-3 pulls, which should get your next team to at least 45 in a fraction of the time of the first team. You'll have enough granted levels from 3-4 teams, for at least another full toon on A (with the first chain) or as many toons on A as the number of teams you boost (with the second chain). Holy Priests have an extra AoE heal, and heal for larger amounts. Disc Priests have a lot of damage mitigation, so they don't need to heal as much... and Penance is the best twitch heal spell in the game. Either works well for PvE play, so its a preference thing. For PvP, Disc is 10x better then Holy. |

| My first group is Alliance, and I had a lvl 67 Ret pally to boost a bit, but wanted to level up 5 together for the experience and to see if I could realistically pull it off. My second group will be Horde, on a server where I have a lvl 70 Mage, average gear (Kara-lvl ) so boosting will be optional there. (I quit WoW about 8 months before Wotlk).I'm intrigued by the pally - 4 dps option. I may go with the druid, and do all the driving from that toon. I have it setup so that I can shift wheel mouse up and my pally will interact with the target and move to the target (more stuff I learned from here). So the healing would be tied to a single button... essentially it will be the same macro 4 times slightly tweaked for each of the shamans and druid... /castsequence reset=## ShammyHeal,,, /castsequence reset=## ,ShammyHeal,, /castsequence reset=## ,,ShammyHeal, /castsequence reset=## ,,,DruidHeal If I suck I can change one of them back to a dedicated healer. I've only done the newbie instances (deadmines, gnomer, ZF) with my first group. Ton of fun. Quote:

| Senior Member | Start with Lightning Bolt. At level 10, add Flame Shock. At level 20, start using Water Shield. At level 30, you get your Call of the Elements and Totemic Recall to make using totems easier/faster. At level 32, add Chain Lightning. At level 75, add Lava Burst. Of course, roll your totems in as you get them. |

| I do prot 3x elem 1x boomkin I just use stopcast lhw on tank or chain heal for group. Since you already have a priest you may want to try this. You then get druid buffs which will be a lot better in cata because of int and the utility and 13% spell dmg bonus on target with druid. Since druid attacks faster with wrath spam, you always have that one before the shamans attack. Plus the druid you could always change to a healer or tank and change the role of the paladin if you decide. |

| Group two officially started, my alliance toons all dinged 60 within about 10 minutes of each other. Group Two - Horde Prot Pally 3 x Shamans Druid Got a 70 mage on this server (my referer account), so just taking the first 2 shamans into RFC to boost... not crazy about the xps... seems faster to quest with a toon equal level to the shamans? For healing I might still use Healbot ... but just change the button... so shaman 1 will be shift-left click, shaman 2 will be alt-left click... etc. Mind you the chain heal + totems probably be tons. |

| I have 4 heal macros total and 1 key to drop all totems. 3x healing stream, wrath, and then make sure u have one of each of the others assuming you are 64 or higher. 1 macro same on all shamans. They temporarily stop dps to heal tank. You only press this once and don't mash or it will not work. /stopcasting #showtooltip /target evilmoka /cast [nochanneling] Lesser Healing Wave I also have a chain heal targeted at the shaman and tank and a self lesser. This is enough for any situation really. Chain heal is overpowered. |

| I find it better to not put stopcasting in the actual heal macro as you may often find yourself buttonmashing, and the stopcasting will cause hell. |

| Yeah it took some getting used to it. I only button mash my 1,2,4 keys and hit the rest singly. |
