Default Ramparts boosting

Hey guys,

Can anyone confirm that for boosting through ramparts, I can just park my toons on the starting bridge and leave then there, and i'll get full xp from the clear? Toons not 55 on this set of boosts but this would make 55-60+ a whole lot faster

Also, once my guys hit 70, can I queue for wotlk randoms with my 80 tank?

Cheers guys

Not sure on parking at the zone in.
The instance is a large zig-zag, as you can jump down at the end and be at the zone in.

So, in theory you will be fairly close to the last two bosses, but the only way to be sure is to park the toons and watch their experience gains as you do the instance. I know in 3.3 (or 3.2) they nerfed (reduced) the range in which your toon can be from the action and still get experience.

I personally had the slaves on follow. Broke follow a little before the action, killed a bunch of mobs. Then ran the slaves up. And repeated.

That's how I normally boost there, but it'd be quicker if they could be parked at zone in....

I may have to try it and see how it goes

No you cannot park at zone in. You get no XP by about the time your booster gets almost to the 1st boss or there abouts.

beats running your friend's brother through Wailing Caverns to twink him up. Although I brought that on myself because I was soooo bored of WoW at the time. I'm glad Multiboxing has breathed new life into the game.

Yeah, I boosted my rogue from 55-64 in Ramparts/BF. The whole boosting process can be quite boring, especially after a combined 400 runs through SM:Cath (as I can only boost 2 accounts at once), but the last 200 runs were much easier on a t9 Pally as opposed to my t7 DK.

Overall, this final boosting seesion on my final 2 accounts has been nowhere near as bad as the first one. All thanks to a Tankadin. All 16 toons at 46 and only 20 days into RaF, just need a pc that can run 5 at once now

what I do is run my rogue to where you can jump down to the start, hit one mob jump down and wait for them and kill them all with my paladin, easy, or if you have engineering you could toss a bomb up to the ledge and they will all come running.

You could do this:

Park at zone instance
Run to the end boss area with your tank, aggro as little as possible on the way there
Get the boss, and run back to beginning, aggroing a TON of mobs
Jump down to the starting area
Wait, then pwn all the mobs
Lots of XP!

I had somebody pwn my guys through with a pally tank that way, was extremely fast and tons of XP.
