Hey all, my copies of WoW came in and I’m waiting until the semester ends to really dive in. However I’d very much like to spend thanksgiving break working out all the bugs with one of the accounts. My question is this: What, if any, limits are there for the amount of accounts that can be linked through RAF to a single account. I read on a blizz forum the limit is 5 but it wasn’t a green or blue post, so don’t trust it 100%. I’d like to be able to link 4 throwaway RAF accounts to my single activated one. To trouble shoot everything like if I were running the whole group, but they’d all be linked to account A instead of EDCBA. If the amount of accounts you can have linked to a single is 4 or less then I’ll either have to activate one of the accounts linked next or just put off on experiencing RAF leveling until after launch. Hope someone has an answer! Plus, hurray only five sigs needed for a guild!

I believe you can have 5 RAF invites out at once. Once someone accepts RAF, by registering an account, or the time passes (think its 10 days) without them registering an account the referral resets. Which means you can send another referral out to another friend or yourself. In theory, you could have hundreds of accounts linked to your one account, as long as you link them in sets of five. If you're doing some form of chain, where A invites B and C. Then B invites D and C invites E, there is no issue with doing this, since A only sent out two invites at one point. Same as A > B > C > D > E, where each account has only one RAF invite out at once. Cannot think of a reason why you'd want more then five unanswered invites out at once, from a single account. Even if you were like Sam/Prepared, and wanted to 32/36 box, you'd likely want some kind of chain to maximize granted levels.

Forgot to post a response, thanks Ualaa. Not sure of the cap but the way blizznet is set up now it gives the impression I could give out up to 20 RAF requests... Used four of them to link to my activated account and got 42 characters up to level 20 over the course of the 10 day trial. Posting the videos from the second server I leveled up on. YouTube - RAF Multiboxing Pt 1 YouTube - RAF Multiboxing Pt 2 YouTube - RAF Multiboxing Pt 3 Each group horde side took about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to hit 20. Alliance groups always hit 20 at about the 2 hour 45 minute mark. Horde groups were 1-10 in Tauren starting area, then 10-20 on the way to and at the sludge fields in Hillsbrad Foothills. Alliance groups I used human starting area because I couldn't figure out how to get to darkshore on the Night elfs(flight path). Plus the cats are terrible pets if you're just trying to speed through 1-20 with no cash for talents outside of questing. The human starting area bugs out on non humans when you complete the second quest that gives you the "class" note for training. So I'd grant two levels of the trial accounts to catch the main account up as I left for Goldshire. Always hit 20 in Redridge. When I activate my other accounts I'll try and figure out the best leveling route to 30.
