I dont think im going to but messed up some grants around lv 56 so might be quicker to do this for those last levels also do you gain grant levels when you level through being granted?! hope that make sense guys! | Short answer, no. Longer answer following... For every even level your toon on the linked account gains, they're able to grant one level to a toon on the referring account, to a maximum of 30 levels granted at 60th level. There are caveats. The toon who is doing the granting has to be higher level then the toon receiving the granted levels. So for example, if your toons were boosted to 10th level, that equates to 5 even levels gained and the ability to grant 5 levels each. If you have twelve such toons, then between them they will be able to grant a total of 60 levels. However, since they are 10th level, they can give levels to toons who are 1st through 9th level, but a level 10 toon is too high to receive a granted level. There are some tricks here, which help you out some. If you were to level a toon, so they were 99% into their level, then give them free granted levels, they will still be 99% into whatever level they end up as. If you were to level two toons to 60th, that would be a total of 30 levels granted from each toon, to a maximum of 60th. Level the lowbie (on the parent account) to say 3rd and 97% into the level. Grant them 30 levels from the first account, so now they're 33rd level; grant them another 27 levels from the other account and now they're 60th. You can give a level to a level 59 with the level 60, but even though the level 60 has 3 more levels to grant, they cannot give any to a level 60 since they're not higher level. The newly leveled (via granted levels) toon will still be 97% into their level, which means they will easily reach 61st on exploration experience probably before reaching Outland. Finally, if you do a chain, then levels cascade. As in you can grant levels based on granted levels received. For example. A = Original account, with a level 80 Paladin. A invites B, via RAF. B invites C, via RAF. The chain looks like this: A >> B >> C. A runs B & C through a bunch of instances, and they reach 60th level. A then boosts another pair of toons on B and C, also to 60th. C can grant 30+30 = 60 levels to B. B can grant 30+30 = 60 levels to A. In addition to this, B has gained 60 levels from C. So B can grant another 30 levels to A. If A happened to get a toon to 30th, B could use those 30 levels to grant that toon all the way to 60th. |

| Good stuff thanks Ualaa, I've got my accounts set up as A-B-C-D-E I've got my paladin (lv 70) on account E so in theory I can cascade the levels down? also can any characters on the account grant the level or just the character leveled? Thanks |

| If my level 70 on account E can use the "summon friend" function on my priest on account D but the "Grant a level" is grayed out what does that mean? Cheers Last edited by Lprkorngod; 11-14-2010 at 06:40 AM. |

| The account E, is not gaining levels, so cannot grant levels. So if you boost say, Druids/Shamans/Paladins/Warlocks on ABCD, you will be able to grant two more toons to C (from D), to B (from C) and to A (from B). And then one more to B (from cascading levels) and one more to A (from cascading levels)... Most people have the booster on A in the chain. A >> B >> C >> D >> E That way, although A is boosting, they will receive some granted levels. If E is an established account, with one of a lot of things, then your set up should be fine. If it is not, then a character transfer to A (of the Paladin) is probably cheaper than purchasing more accounts. |
