Professions Leveling

How should I level my professions for my teams?
I aim to have 6 sets of 5 character teams (30 chars). So that's a lot of professions.

I don't think I want gathering professions since I don't think that they have very good synergy on multiboxing?? (Whats your thoughts?).

I think have crafting professions would be good? I could log in to all 30 and then use my cooldowns.
Is this what you all have?

Also, when should I start doing my training? Should I know what professions I am sending my teams as I am leveling? Or can I do it when they are all 60+?

I do similar. Best bet is to have professions with cooldowns - products with cooldowns are worth alot and are very little effort to make many of... just 2 minutes logging into each one. I think its worth having at least 1 of everything in case you need something made, but then just double up on cooldown providing profs for the rest of the slots.

Mining's titansteel was worth a lot when it had a cooldown, as were Tailoring's cloths. Alchemy's gems do nicely as well.

If you look through mmo-champion in the information released about Cata so far, you'll see that tailoring and alchemy are back to having cooldowns again. There may be others - keep your eyes peeled.

I normally level mine once they reach 65. At 65 you can have 450/450 profs, so I do it all in one hit there. Note that you need another 3 levels to do the alchemy transmutation quest though.

So you think one toon in each team should be a Herbalist and a Miner?
Then have everyone else in Team 1 be an alchemist and..
