| Hi, Im levelling in instances quite nicely , though I find my priest is a little squishy at times. Was wondering would a Pally be a suitable alternative as the main or would i struggle in high level instances ? |

| Hey Diamond, I run 1 pally 2 hunter group and find it VERY convenient. You get nice buffs (I put wisdom on hunters and might on bears), you can tank by yourself in emergency, you can heal, and you can Lay on Hands (for extra emergency). My teams is at lvl60 but I my main-main char is lvl80 priest, and I can see how on high lvl content pally would be better than priest. Things to consider: 2 hunters vs. 4 hunters ...hmmm |

| Senior Member | Pally are ok they just do not have any AOE healing, shrman could be 2nd opt as they ware mail but they got no argo dump so i find them a pain to play at times prist/pally both have argo dumps so they would work out better, a clothey would die a lot faster then a Pate healer but then your missing out on AOE healing and when playing a few bears AOE come in handey tust me

Then, any heal that is cast on anyone within a 40 yard range (boosted to 60 yards in 3.2) will proc that same heal on your beacon. Basically, you get two heals for the price of one... Add to that, that Pallys are probably the best single-target healers in the game. Shaman are nice with their chain-heals and totems... they don't have an argo dump, but iirc they have a totem that lowers their threat, so that may help in general. I am having this same dilema, do I level a priest for healing, or do I respec on my pally (currently Ret/Prot) to heal... or respec my shammy....... oh, decisions, decisions. lawl. | |

| Senior Member | ^^^ Truth A priest healer for multiboxing is (IMHO) the best choice, as you can respec between holy (for the best aoe healing in the game) and disc (the best single target healing in the game) ad nauseam. I personally use a Paladin/Priest/Mage/Druid/Shaman team tho. Last edited by Catreina; 08-02-2009 at 02:10 AM. |
