Default Megaleveling RAF accounts

Smithnweson's Guide to RAF Megaleveling

Requirements:

Main World of Warcraft Account
2-4 RAF World of Warcraft Accounts

Main Account Refers Account B
Account B is to be upgraded to full version and minimum Burning Crusade
Account B is to RAF the remaining accounts. (Each additional account will require upgrade to full + eventual Burning Crusade Expansion purchase)

Upon completion of subscriptions, you will want to decide which main that you would like to use. (Preferably Hunter/Mage/Druid/Paladin) however I have seen just about every class perform this task. Main needs to be minimum 75, preferably 80.

KEY:
H = Horde
A = Alliance
B = Both

1-10 is quested without the main

1-10 H (I prefer Durator)
1-10 A (I prefer Elwynn)

Once you reach 10, please do any class quest at that time. Once you complete said quests You will want to have a mage port you to Shattrath or if you upgraded all your accounts to Wrath, Dalaran is preferred. This will make travel time minimal.

10-20 H Wailing Caverns (The Barrens) @ 16 you can shorten the amount of runs by attaining the quests above the caverns and also if you wish there is also a port quest in Ratchet.

10-20 A The Deadmines (Westfall)

20-35 BScarlet Monastery (Tirisfal Glades) There is a quest in Under City by the Queen or in Southshore @ level 30 if you wish for extra XP.

35-45 B Zul'farrak (Tanaris) If you have yourself bound in Dalaran, this is where travel time is nearly nil. There is a portal to Caverns of Time in Dalaran which is located at the top of the steps on the left side in The Violet Citadel.
Upon reaching 40 you will be able to attain the quests which can be grabbed from Gadgetzan and also an additional quest over in the Shimmering Flats that attains you one of your 1st trinkets (Carrot on a stick)

45-55 B Scholomance (Western Plaguelands)

55-60 B The Ramparts (Hellfire Citadel, Hellfire Peninsula)
*At 60 RAF Ends, however using ur main will make these levels go by so much faster.
60-63 B Blood Furnace (Hellfire Citadel, Hellfire Peninsula)

63-65 B Slave Pens/Underbog (Coilfang Reservoir, Zangarmarsh)

65-66 B Manatombs (Auchindoun, Terokkar Forest) North Side

66-67 B Auchenai Crypts (Auchindoun, Terokkar Forest) West Side

67-68 B Sethekk Halls (Auchindoun, Terokkar Forest) East Side

Upon 68 you can head to Northrend, however if you do wish to stay in Outlands you can do Shadow Labyrinth which is the final South Side of Auchindoun.

I hope you find this guide helpful. This is just one of many ways that you can multibox. This is just a speedier way. Just be aware that by leveling very fast that the training costs can really eat away at any savings that you do have. I am one of the few that don't loot while powerleveling, save for the boss loots. I generally take those for random upgrades. Once you get higher you will replace the gear anyways.

If you have any questions, comments, or other ideas please feel free to PM me or leave a response underneath!

I believe he is doing the 4 and a higher level main. A few of us have 5 RaF accounts while others have a mix of anywhere from 1-3 RaF with 1-2 regular accounts. It depends on what you want to do and what you can afford to do. In my opinion anyway you Multibox is a good one BTW Great guide Smithnweson.

1-10 is without the main, however 10+ is with a main. I would say 75+, 80 being preferred.

Great guide! I hadn't even thought about powerleveling past 60. Just one thing though.... If you're gonna go ahead and do any class quests at 10 why not do a couple more quests to make 15, assuming all accounts RAF'd, and (on Alliance side anyway) just start with Stocks from 15-28/30 moving on to SM at 28/30-38/40 then ZF from 38/40-48/50.

My argument is that Stocks is a much quicker run with great exp and very little moving of your toons. For the first hall you can leave your toons at the entrance and clear all the way to the room they are facing. Then just move your toons up to the intersection of the halls and clear both wings losing no exp from RAF or proximity of main. Granted there is the instance lock issue, but if you take the time to do a little looting you shouldn't run into that problem very much, or for very long if you do.

Once again, great guide!

I am a little confused... what is the purpose of doing RAF when you lvl with an 80 booster?

Don't these rules negate the triple XP? Are we just after the bonus levels or something?

From the Blizzard FAQ
Quote:
Do I always gain triple experience while I am linked to my recruit?

No. In order to receive triple experience, you must be partied with a character on a linked account and within 100 yards of one another. With this, both characters (veteran and recruit) must be present for each kill and quest completion.

Also, should monsters or quests be marked as "Low Level" or listed as gray in difficulty for either character, triple experience will not apply.

Is quest experience tripled, too?

Yes, but only if both veteran and recruit characters are present for quest completion and if the monster or quest is not marked as "Low Level" (typically gray in difficulty, though sometimes green) for either linked character.

Do our characters (my character and my recruit's character) have to be same level in order to receive triple experience?

No, but you must be within 4 levels of one another and meeting all other triple experiences requisites in order for both characters to receive triple experience. If this level requirement is not met, only the lower level character will receive the bonus.

For example: Should your character be 5 levels higher than your recruit, only your recruit's character will be eligible for triple experience (provided that all other requirements are met, as well).

A-B, A-C linked accounts would not benefit from main on A running toons. But would benefit if main A is transferred to C then A-B would benefit from runs from C, or if main A is transferred to B then A-C would benefit from runs from B.

I personally don't recommend the A-B/A-C RAF option. I like A B-C-D-E options assuming a main on A, then all accounts will benefit from RAF, except A of course. This is how I have my RAF set up, minus the E, lol.

I am still lost.... it doesn't matter what account the toons are on... if a high lvl toon is in the group they get no triple XP.

So is the RAF just to garner the bonus levels then?

10-20 I would actually recommend SFK. You can leave your low lvls by the entrance and kill all the mobs you picked up on the ramparts above them.

Ok, here's the skinny of it. You set up your RAF like this:

Account1 no RAF
Account2 linked to Account3
Account3 linked to Account4
(this is how I have mine set up, there are other ways)

Of course Account1 does not benefit from RAF, it is just where your main is at. As long as Account2, Account3, and Account4 are within 4 levels of each other they will benefit from RAF even if your main from Account1 is in the group.

Blizzard does not say that if you have a character that is more than 4 levels higher than you in group you will not benefit from RAF, what they state is that if the characters that are linked are more than four levels different then they won't benefit. I hope this clears that up.

@Eatcarbs: For Alliance I would say just quest to 15 then run Stocks. My argument is this: Stocks is right there in SW. No traveling to get to SFK. Trainers are nearby and vendors for selling loot. Also, it doesn't take that much longer to get to 15 than to travel to SFK.

Oh, and if you're in Tim's guild on Blackrock, could you please login and invite Jammychasera, Jammychaserb, and Jammychaserc if you can.
