Maybe Im Doing This Wrong

so I'm messing with a PvE team. They are all still really low lvl as I have one who is NOT RAF'd and dragging up down.

Pally Tank
Priest DPS/healing later
Mage DPS
Lock DPS
Lock DPS

I have been using the Pally as my main, but it really sucks. I have to run right up on the target with my pally and that puts all my casters in melee range of the target as well. Should I be using one of the casters and Spamming the tank with "IWT"?

Suggestions? Im really getting burned out with this atm.

Bind a certain key for everyone except the paladin to make them take a step backward to break follow.
Down arrow for example, then leave them back as the paladin goes in range.

Thats what i do. When my pally goes in I hit my down arrow just before judgement (dont worry about them being too close, they're follow a slighty-past image of your tank thats further back) and everyone steps back, breaking follow. I can show you it when i get home in like 7 hours if you dont have it figured out.

It will get better once you get consecration and a few other ranged abilities. Righteous fury will make a huge difference too.
