leveled a priest to 8 solo and...

I forgot how difficult playing a priest solo is. I did not feel setting up my macros/program to have my level 80 priest follow and heal me.
trying to get this priest to catch up to a lvl 38 hunter and druid.

I hope come cataclysm, priest leveling gets an overhaul. I like the class, just hate the leveling part. its like you have to spec shadow to do any grinding for X amount of items for a quest.

So I need to read up on boosting, so i can run my priest through deadmines for phat XP

5x Disc, going with Smite as weapon.. had no issues leveling.

Just about everything died on 1x cast (5 smites), so leveling was easier then with shammies who frequently needed more then 1x cast (5 lightning bolts).

Still 1x Priest and 5x Priest are different beasts.
With 5x, mana is basically not an issue, as they all regen at once, I doubt this is true for 1x priest, although its been quite some time since I've solo'd on one.
