I've been outta the game for a while. A few days ago my wife convinced me to come back to WoW, my bargaining was that if I play, I will be multiboxing.

Now I'm playing with a 3x Druid team, only started the team last night, but it's already a lot of fun. I've tried boxing almost every class, hunter got me VERY bored VERY fast... not sure why. Shamans are hellishly fun, but I really feel too generic playing them. So i'm playing 3 druids in RaF with my wife (playing a Warrior tank).

We got to level 12 in under an hour. I love RaF!!!

So far the entire time playing on my druids was a literal breeze. I could run past anything i wanted to kill, by the time i got past it, my moonfire spam had raped it. Granted that moonfire spam took a little longer as I approached level 12, but it's still working.

I'm going to be full balance on all 3 druids, with side-heals for the tank. We will 4 man instances and gear up in them.

That's it for me for now, i'll try and keep this blog up to date, but I got a terrible memory, sorry if i don't! :P

Hello,

Does anyone knows how to stop my slaves from trailing behind my main when moving? I use multiboxing for PVP, and this is a huge problem for me. I can't manouver very well in thight places because my slaves are always following too far away from my main so when i turn they often get caught in obstacles or corners of buildings, also makes it almost imposible to manouver inside a building or stais... i basically have to wait about 2 seconds every time i have to make a turn so the slaves can catch-up to the main or i have to make huge arcs then mounted to prevent the slaves from getting caught in an obtacle in the road.... is really anoying!!!! I currently use the /focus and /follow macros.....

I know this problem can be solved because i seen a few multiboxers in BG's that have all their toons (slaves and main) in one single group and they all move as ONE even when mounted, rather than main followed by group of slaves!!!! :(

Can anyone help me with this problem please?
Thank you

So lately I haven't had too much time for gaming recently. I was playing blade & soul with a friend I've known for years that lives in korea but I gave the account up to one of her family members who wanted to play and try it out. Besides its also kind of hard since my korean is horrible and I would rather just play it in english. The game was so much fun honestly I can't wait at all for it to come out. But I'm sure it will take quite some time. The pvp was really sick too. Other then that my friend recently opened a server for the game called Ragnarok While its an older game they added some interesting features from another game called conquer online. Basicly they took the PKing system where the more people you kill you get PKing pentaties that follow like the droping of your items. System wise its a very brutal style even Conquer Online changed the system and nerfed the PKing system and so far the only other game that came up with a simlar system was World of Kunfu (Which was also nerfed to be anti-pk) And perfect world (Which limits there pking so much its not even fun). While I can understand that some people cry about getting killed over and over again. If you know a game is PK and you join it that is saying you understand that someone will find you and KILL you over and over if they have enough reason too. I'm glad atleast someone has raised the PK banner and isn't afraide to provide a real PK game like all the other games which removed those features because of player grieving. The server's name is which is found here (ExistenceRO)if your curious. which fits nicely in the PK theme in my oppinion because to exist in a world with pkers you have to kill to survive. They also have some limits like for now you can't kill people who are inside of city's and market and paradise island are safe zones that PKers can hide in. Which gives it an interesting element. There is also a bounty system in place that works on an automatic system as a Pker kills people part of the money the Pker gains from what the victim loses goes into a bounty system against that Pkers name. Then people who wish to hunt that PKer get a limited amount of time to try and find the Pker and kill them to receive the bounty reward. It is a very different take on the game itself and I do really enjoy it because for us PK'ers there isn't much in terms of free for all killing. I HATE faction or race based killing. Most of the people in your own race or faction need to die to cause there usually just as retarded. Like those 12 year olds in wow how many times I wish it was free for all PK so I could rape them in a corner over and over and laugh at them. It would have made my day. But Wow is like a slight step up from toon town content and gameplay wise. It still supports the players who have no skill what so ever and hands them free gear. That is one thing Ragnarok will never do thankfully. You shouldn't never get loot for being a bad player like you do in world of warcraft all the "all i have to do is grind this newbie dungeon for a month and i'll get my T20's YAY" While everyone else works for it the real way. But wow is going to die soon. Well thats pretty much all that is going on currently. If your reading this and you start raging over it that just means you must be 12 years old and still playing world of warcraft. And if you agree with me then power to you for being an awesome PVP/ PKer style gamer xD!

Hello,

I want to know if there's a way to make all my toons follow on top of each other (all of them standing on the same place)... i do a lot of pvp and is really hard to manuver inside buildings or going up the stairs or when following someone around the corner since my alts always follow a bit back, so they often get stuck in obstacles or are unable to make the turn around a corner so they run into the wall and i have to go back and get them all... lol
I been searching the blogs and only found one old blog saying that it is not posible to follow in formation or on top of each other. However, the blog is really old and so far i seen 3 times when a bunch of DK's are all always in the same spot even when mounted and moving in a few BG's!!!

Anyone have any help on the subject?

Thank you

Hello, i'm new to multiboxing and have a really hard time making it work... i have the basic focus, follow and assist macros, but i found it to be really useless for pvp...

example i got 3 DK's and everytime i attack something my slaves stop following my main, also when i get feared in pvp i have to go search for my toons all over the field because they stop following my main!!! Also, my slaves always follow behing my main so when my main attacks all my alts are out of range for mele combat.... i seen mele multiboxing before and all toons are always on top of each other and they don't seem to have any of the problems i have... :( is there better macros or what a'm i doing wrong?

I'm loving having IWT on a docked clickmap. I'm trying to save certain simple keybinds for combat use. One method I've adopted is using a docked clickmap for all those things (especially if using identical toon types) one might need to do on all toons at the same time using all those key combinations you would never want to use on the fly (i.e., ALT-CTRL-SHIFT-NUMPAD-ADD). Like:

Huddling up

Mounting Up

Following

IWT

Buffs

Bubbles (e.g., Mana Shield for mages)

Self-Decursing

Eating/Drinking

Switching PVE to PVP gear assignments (ex., Outfitter)

Hearthing

PROCs (since I can't always know who has Arcane Missiles up)

...and my favorite, the 'Oh Sh*t' macro. Usually a Frost Nova/Mirror Image/Invisibility castsequence for thwarting gank dishonor attempts...

One thing I would love to see, though...is perhaps some Pwnboxer support for the 'multi-button' macro technique, I'll call it. Currently, I have macro'd on my mage a version of lua code I first saw on the Tundra Mount 'empty your seats' macro.

:D

Code:

#showtooltip
/cast [btn:1] Traveler's Tundra Mammoth()
/stopmacro [btn:1]
/script EjectPassengerFromSeat(1)
/script EjectPassengerFromSeat(2)

I started noticing the use of that 'btn' and started experimenting with it, and lo and behold...I discovered there are some ways to use it that are cool, time-saving, etc. So, now on my main mage, I do the following to self-buff on a macro keybound to one of my actionbars...

Code:

/castsequence [btn:2] Molten Armor, Mage Ward
/stopmacro [btn:2]
/castsequence reset=5 Mage Ward, Mage Armor, Dalaran Brilliance

I tested out whether or not this would work as intended on a docked clickmap and it doesn't...but this wasn't surprising. I imagine in order to get it to work, each clickmap cell (for lack of a better word) would need the capability of having two or more keybind assignments attached to it. This is a guess, of course...but that's what I was thinking about.

How 'bout it, PB community? Support for multiple-keybind assigned clickmap cells? :)

- Bumped to my blog so I can remember to follow up on this...
