All it really means is that I am one of the few who will be available on the front page (there are two total pages of live feeds from producers as I type this)

In any event, I have done quite a bit to the Justin.TV page, and I will be working on multiboxing again soon (I have been lax in the multiboxing recently. SORRY! :rolleyes:)

I am still waiting on word whether I am a Justin.TV producer or not. While I am waiting, I will be posting a schedule of my broadcasts.

Broadcasting is not just a fun hobby for me. I am hoping that I might be able to take this much further, and maybe start doing movies or something in the future. We shall see.

For the present and foreseeable future, I will be broadcasting on a whim, with a semi-consistent schedule as follows (and I will be posting this on Justin.TV as I get time to):

All times are EDT

Monday: 3PM - 8PM ==> Console based games (Final Fantasy 7/8, Phantasy Star 1-4, etc)
Monday: 8PM - 12AM ==> Random gaming, whatever I feel like doing (including NON gaming stuff)

Tuesday: 3PM - 7PM ==> Multiboxing or single character leveling
Tuesday: 7PM - 12AM ==> Raiding with Focused Aggression on Alterac Mountains
Thursday: 7PM - 12AM ==> Raiding with Focused Aggression on Alterac Mountains

Friday: 3PM - 12AM ==> Currently Unknown - maybe a day off, maybe decided on a whim

Saturday: 3PM - 12AM ==> Currently Unknown - maybe a day off, maybe decided on a whim
Schedule is subject to change with or without notice, at any time. If you feel violated or harmed by any changes, you are entitled to a full refund.

The instance runs are going awesome. I am literally owning instances 3-4 levels higher than my group (read: orange and red mobs) :eek:

I will be doing SM Armory and SM Library a few times to get some gear and experience, and when my group hits 36 I will head into SM Cathedral for some fun large group pulls.

I am modifying my macros to start utilizing castsequence and better rotations. I am starting to find that the lack of total organization in my keybinds + macros is starting to lead to harder runs. I could probably have done SM Cath fully on Sunday if I had optimized macros and my keybindings. Oh well

I need to create a schedule and work on my Justin.TV page a little more, with more info and what not. For now, its still 3PM casting every day.

Multibox the main group?

I am offering some of my knowledge for these things to you!

Last night, I was talking to one Kenta81. I saw a stream he was doing on Ulduar 10-man on July 16. The stream itself looked frickin amazing, but the problem was he was only broadcasting at around 2-4 frames per second. It was similar to some of the issues I had been seeing when I first started... a whole 2 weeks ago.

Anyway, I was talking about this during my broadcast, and Kenta showed up. He wanted to know what he could do to make his stream better quality, like mine is.

I started going through settings in VHScrCap and FME, showing them in the stream. The lag time between my saying something and getting a response from him was a bit much, so I had him join my vent channel, and then I connected to his machine via Remote Assistance. I showed him how to tweak his configuration, and also set it up exactly the same as mine is set up. He doesn't multibox that I know of, so his machine can be of a little lower specs than mine is for broadcasting.

He was using a Core 2 Duo at I think it was 2.8gHz, with a huge pipeline to the internet (Sweden ftw). His VC was an nVidia, but I do not know what kind. He was getting 30FPS during his 10-mans, at 1680x1050 resolution.

Anyway, once everything was set up for broadcasting, he tried it, and BAM! He starts getting really good quality with no movement (read: like you were in front of the machine), and slight degradation when moving (slight pixelation is OK). Additionally, he was now getting 15-25fps when casting Dalaran. This is good.

I will be putting up tutorial videos on how to set up VHScrCap and FME 2.5 in the near future for broadcasting, and will likely upload my entire UI and Macros for those of you who have been begging me for them. Keep an eye on the appropriate forums!

Until next time, the power is yours!

The Gateway FX4710 by default does not allow overclocking of the CPU or RAM. I am upgrading the BIOS in a futile attempt to gain these abilities. Chances are it wont happen, and my Q9300 which should overclock without issues will be stuck at 333FSB * 7.5multiplier (2.5ghz) because of the motherboard/bios (A Gateway G33M05G1 MP with Phoenix 841P051G bios)

If the new BIOS allows overclocking, I will be happy. If not (or if it breaks my PC), I will be buying a new PC as soon as I can.

Update - I am NEVER buying a manufacturer built computer again. The MB is fully and wholly locked from any overclocking, and any attempt to do so would both void the warranty and destroy the MB Bios. Screw that. Its a good PC for the short term, but with a locked 333mhz FSB and a Q9300 (which overclocks decently in normal machines) with only 6MB of L2 Cache, the computer starts failing with any decent requirements.

I am looking at a Core i7 CPU +MB + RAM purchase in the near future (read: August 1), if everything goes well otherwise.

So after three hours of running around, I got my whole group together. My paladin is level 4, the priest and mage are level 3, and the druid and shaman are almost level 2.

The Paladin has the Priest and Mage as RaF bonuses, and I already had the Shaman and Druid accounts, so they are not RaF (I dont want to spend $100 at this point, so more time levelling is better than another $60-$80 to get two more BC accounts)

So, I had to run the paladin to UC because I forgot that I could summon her with the priest or mage. Ironically, I remembered that I could summon them with the paladin when I got to the zeppelin tower, but the paladin can only summon one of them once an hour. So I still had to run the other to the tower anyway. :confused::mad:

Now I get to Orgrimmar, and start running to Mulgore because that is where I will start my questing. The three toons I have die just outside Orgrimmar so that I can run faster and not get experience...... Spirit Res in Mulgore, and I am back outside Orgrimmar. Such a waste (no, I didn't remember they did that either).

After running to Mulgore.... again... I finally got them all together. The priest and mage barely got 50% of a level running from Tirisfal to Mulgore, and the Paladin barely dinged level 2 running from Silvermoon. The Shaman and Druid will be lagging behind the whole time, so I will just have to either run them separately at times, or more likely, just make sure I run instances more than I would if they were all RaF

Still in the Mulgore Mesa. Going to push to 15 minimum today.
